                              Built real time eSpeed trade subscriber.  Trade confirmations were delivered to reporting databases.  Ported subset of eSpeed C++ trading API to Perl.  Replaced existing application to eliminate deadlocks, missing trades, and duplicates messages.

                              Created real time trade feed application in Perl for clearing/booking trades.  Trade feed replaced previous end-of-day process for all eSpeed trades. New features included monitoring and support controls.

                              Developed mod_perl based web interface to securities and customer management databases.

                              Created Perl-CGI web trading system for Japanese Government Bonds.

                              Designed and implemented Verisign payment and subscription system for eSpeed services

                        Technical Staff – Government Solutions Business Unit

                              Led design and implementation of MySQL router database used by group for network research and routing analysis.

                              Coordinated work with Bell Labs on Internet Mapping Project.  Wrote parts of network discovery tool used for mapping.  Tweaked TCP and IP protocols for better penetration.

                              Implemented network discovery and analysis tools in C, using libpcap and Perl.

                              Attended numerous trade shows to demonstrate Lucent technologies to government agencies.

                              Planned and setup Internet Research Laboratory in Business Unit.
